Flower girls :)

Hey All,

For years Flower Girls have had their job of tossing rose petals on the ground ahead of the bride. Some would, some wouldn’t, some would and then pick them up, or the ring bearer would and in all of these situations, they were adorable. For this shoot, we explored alternatives. In some places, you aren’t allowed to toss petals and even when you are, it’s awesome to have some options to express yourself and have everyone in your party feel comfortable.

For this shoot, I was able to collaborate with the incredible Beth Insalaco. Our models were Nichole and Phebe Falavolito. We also got to play with the fabric roses and accessories from BelleRoseDesigns.

Part 1: For those who won’t throw:

For the child you want in your wedding but are unsure if stage fright will take over, there are options:

A stuffed animal can help even the shyest little attendants feel more comfortable.

Basket of fabric flowers.

Fabric flowers, like these from BelleRoseDesigns, are charming and can be used again later. These are in burlap and satin and are super sweet.

A two handled basket is a great way to guarantee no throwing in case someone changes their mind πŸ˜‰

Part two: For those who may or may not throw:

Bubbles!

Who doesn’t love bubbles?

Just be sure you know the rules of the venue!

Phebe modeled some other Belle Rose Designs accessories as well:

This bag with the white flower goes perfectly with our natural and blush color palette! So Sweet!

Since it was a styled shoot and to show that these options can be worked into the bigger picture as well, here’s a few to show how you can continue with the theme.

For the palette, I went mostly natural with linen, light brown, soft champagne, andΒ  light pink colors. Ended up with two basic themes: 1. Flowers, seeds, and growth (growing together). 2. Candy (sweet love).

Guestbook table

initials on linen

This heart on the runner is sort of an homage to the old-school tradition of carving your initials on the tree with your first love.

homemade candies

Homemade flower shaped candies in soft colors serves as the favors for guests.

candy bouquet and guest book box

For the children who don’t throw, I made this pixie stick bouquet and a box for an alternative to a guestbook. Friends can put their wishes and advice in there for a keepsake box. Phebe loved the mini-bouquet… Sort of. She wanted ‘the blue one’ so cute!!

At the end of the day, the important thing is remembering that children are not super predictable and that’s what makes them so cute. If they don’t do what they did beautifully in rehearsal, don’t cringe. It’ll probably be many peoples favorite little moment other than seeing you come together forever.

To close, some super cute pictures!

So sweet

Big hugs!

Hello Web Admin, I noticed that your On-Page SEO is is missing a few factors, for one you do not use all three H tags in your post, also I notice that you are not using bold or italics properly in your SEO optimization. On-Page SEO means more now than ever since the new Google update: Panda. No longer are backlinks and simply pinging or sending out a RSS feed the key to getting Google PageRank or Alexa Rankings, You now NEED On-Page SEO. So what is good On-Page SEO?First your keyword must appear in the title. Then it must appear in the URL.You have to optimize your keyword and make sure that it has a nice keyword density of 3-5% in your article with relevant LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing). Then you should spread all H1,H2,H3 tags in your article.Your Keyword should appear in your first paragraph and in the last sentence of the page. You should have relevant usage of Bold and italics of your keyword. There should be one internal link to a page on your blog and you should have one image with an alt tag that has your keyword….wait there’s even more Now what if i told you there was a simple WordPress plugin that does all the On-Page SEO, and automatically for you? That’s right AUTOMATICALLY, just watch this 4minute video for more information at. Seo Plugin

Hello would you mind stating which blog ploaftrm you’re using? I’m going to start my own blog in the near future but I’m having a tough time choosing between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something unique. P.S My apologies for getting off-topic but I had to ask!
