We are working on revamping the blog! This is largely due to the fact that we are revamping the website but also largely due to the number of events and such we have going on this year. 2014 is looking to be very exciting for Hand in Hand and we want it to be as exciting for you!
So, we are going to start having guest bloggers from the industry to give you all some more insight. That will start tomorrow with a post from Bobby Drakulic of Drakulic Photography.
This brings us to some exciting news. Bobby will be one of the speakers in our new wedding workshop series, WeddingSlam! Hand in Hand is joinging together with Jenny Butterfield Designs to bring you the newest kind of wedding planning workshop. Learn from experts in the field about how to make your wedding day it’s very best as well as things you need to know for the marriage itself. There will also be an opportunity to save money on services and products for your wedding. Tickets are $35 for a bride or groom but we are running a special where tickets for a couple are only $60. Our inaugural slam will be held at Glitter N Grit in Lawrenceville, he most spectacular bridal boutiques. Seating is limited so be sure to contact Sarah Joy McKenzie about tickets right away!
Check out the official weddingslam facebook page to learn more about our speakers and watch as events pop up all over Pittsburgh!
We are also going to be doing more theme posts so we will be alternating Love is War Wednesday and Theme post Thursday weekly. There will also be more what we’re up to posts as well as a newsletter so you can stay informed!
Our first what we’re up to post will be coming later this week and then we will be back in the swing of things regularly posting! First, though, I have to ask:
What types of blog posts would you like from us? This can be as specific as which kinds of vendors you’d like to hear from or as broad as types of posts you like the best. Is it general wedding stuff, or other events you love, or anything else? Of course I know we all love pictures but what else strikes your fancy? Comment here. Thanks in advance!
Lots of Love,
Sarah Joy McKenzie
