As many of you know, on Tuesday I collaborated with Rachel Tokarski to do a very special styled shoot. Shoes!!
Lots of brides think that the shoes aren’t a big deal because their dress goes to the floor and there’s a train and a veil and who’s looking at shoes, but really even with a long dress, they add to the magic. Plus the pictures are incredible.
Especially if you have a fabulous photographer.
We were lucky enough to be able to work with two of the coolest stores on etsy.
Nora Karen hand paints shoes so that they are unique to you.
Menacherie creates these gorgeous shoe clips to add flair to any pair of shoes.
Seriously, these clips are so amazing, they can even stand up to the other gorgeous pair of Louboutin’s.
Lots of color in this shoot! Of course, ivory and white and all of it’s other bridal incarnations make for beautiful bridal shoes too but they are easy to find anywhere. We just wanted to find something a little different.
Shoes are a great way to bring in your theme or add some more personality to your wedding.
The coolest part of getting an investment shoe (or clips or jewelry) is being able to wear them again, for truly special occasions and being flooded with memories of happiness before even stepping out the door!
My green shoes that we featured were made by Design Your Pedestal. Their facebook page is here.
Lots of Love,
